ABOUT THE SEX WORKERS ART COLLECTIVE
The Sex Worker Art Collective is a group of sex workers, sex worker rights activists and sex worker allies creating communal events to stimulate conversation around de-stigmatising sex worker.
The collective are opening a public communal space alongside a public gallery, where art will be shown to visually communicate politics around sex worker rights, labour rights, classism and sexism.
The collective will also host art events used as a non-judgemental space used to educate, and used as a social and theraputic space.
The collective stemmed from Goldsmiths, University of London, from the Goldsmiths Sex Worker Solidarity Society which is a support group for on campus sex workers.
